Bug Report "Hide source when playback ends" not working for Audio Media Sources

Trying to implement a sort of soundboard while streaming for streaming using OBS's Media Source option. However, the option to "hide source when playback ends" doesn't seem to work when checked. I would have to manually hide the source.

I'm currently on the latest version of OBS. I can upload a log file if you believe this is a local issue.
 
I'm also experiencing this issue. The source does not hide once whatever it is assigned to finishes. I'm assuming that the eye symbol should probably go grey with a line through it. However this does not happen.

I have tried this with gifs and audio with the same result.
 
The movie I have assigned to it hides but the source "eye" stays visible making my macro or stream deck situation an awkward double tap.
 
I am having the same issue and really need a new source or something to solve this problem. Here is a related issue. And they are saying it is working as intended. I agree that it is working as they intended. But not working the way we want it too.

I want this to actually hide the source when the playback of a media source ends. Add options in the settings for "HIDING" the source and a setting for making the source "transparent". Leave "transparent" as the default selection and that would mimic current behavior but the "hiding" selection would actually hide the source. This would fix the problem for everyone. And this should be very simple to implement.

Also, I agree the bug is working as intended. However, it is not working the way some users would expect. So, it would be great if you could implement something to help out the users, instead of just closing the bug and going silent.

Other than that, thank you for your hard work and a great product. I really enjoy OBS.

Please give us some information on this issue.
 
The source can not know which scene item to hide, the source could be referenced by several scene items, which one does it hide? The only way I see that working if it hides ALL scene items referencing that specific source, not an ideal solution.

Thank you for the response. Is there a way we can put this in as a feature request? This would make the replay buffer a lot easier to use.
