Question / Help Help With Streaming Settings

I'm having some issues with very laggy 720p60 streams. I am aware that my settings are unoptimized and my hardware isn't the greatest, I just want any help possible to make my streams a bit more bearable to watch. I use an Elgato HD60 S to record from an Xbox One. Thanks for any help!

This machine can't do 720p60. Drop to 30fps. Go as fast as ultrafast if you have to, or drop to a lower resolution than 720.

No. Preset, resolution and framerate are the big ones that affect load. Fewer frames is less load. Fewer pixels is less load. Faster preset is less load. OBS' defaults are sensible and the Auto-Configuration Wizard provides good basic settings for most users. It's not necessary to change advanced options.

Tried changing to superfast (still 720p60) and it works pretty fine.

EDIT: Also, I'm playing SWBF2, which depends a bit more on 60FPS.

EDIT 2: I'll try 30FPS, and see how it works out.

EDIT 3: Oh, actually looks ok with 30FPS, do you think I could try 864p30?

EDIT 4: Tested it out, 864p30 with superfast looks fine while streaming, thanks for the helpful frames advice. I was looking into other methods as I wasn't willing to sacrifice 720+p.
