Question / Help help with Sony wireless headset

I'm starting to use OBS to do my twitch streaming. Last night I logged into OBS, connected my hauppauge hd pvr, and my sony gold wireless headset. I started the stream and noticed that as soon as I turned on my sony headset the sound from my gameplay disappeared on Twitch. I then noticed that once I turned the headset off the sound came back to my gameplay and stream. Do you guys have a fix for this or is there something I'm missing that's stopping me.

So if I turn on my xbox one with my wireless headset and run obs on my laptop I get not problems with Twitch. It's only when I turn on my PS4 wireless headset that the sound goes away and comes back when turned off. I can't figure this out.
