hey everyone :), ive recently been trying to record, and hopefully later on stream, by using OBS. when recording games especially CSGO, i've seen a noticeable frame drop w/ CPU usage at around 25% and when running an fps benchmark, i would get around 30-50 fps instead of my regular 130-150. i've watched and tried different settings but have had no luck which has resulted to me using bandicam because i barely get an fps drop when using it. i would like to use OBS because it seems better and more versatile.
ps,
im looking to record in 720/1080p in 60fps :)
also; i play csgo on a stretched 4:3 resolution of 1024x768 OR 1280x960
pc specs:
intel i5-8250u
nvidia mx150
256gb ssd
download speed - 20.7Mbps
upload speed - 17.6Mbps
current settings include:
OUTPUT:
encoder - x264
CBR (5000 kbps)
cpu usage - superfast
profile - main
VIDEO:
canvas - 1920x1080
output - 1280x720
downscale filter - bicubic
fps - 60
any help would be appreciated :)
thanks :)
