Help with recording file

I have just finished a regular recording session with nothing out of the ordinary and my file after clicking stop recording will not change to a completed format as seen below. I have tried refreshing and I have tried recording other things after this and they saved no issue.

I am for the last couple of days and it's been fine until today or specifically this one recording. I assume this means this recording is unsalvageable then?

Depends what the problem was caused by. There was an issue writing directly to MP4 that was fixed in 28.0.1, but still MP4 is a fragile format if it is not finalized properly, hence the recommendation to use MKV instead. You may be able to recover it with https://github.com/anthwlock/untrunc
