Question / Help Help with OBS Settings - Need max settings

Hello Im trying to get the maximum streaming potential with my rig but it seems like im doing something wrong. Ive followed youtube vids but it seems like its matters depending on the rig.

here is my rig:
CPU - Intel i7 6700k
GFX Card - Asus GTX 1080
RAM - Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb 3000mhz
Mobo - ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
Cooling - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Bandwith: 300mb/s down / 30mb/s up

Please advise on what settings I can reach with OBS to make my stream reach its maximum potential without fps drop Thank you

720p, 30 fps, 3000-3500 Kbps, and the fast preset should well work for most things. If you want to do 720p60 then you may want to drop the preset to faster or veryfast depending on how CPU-heavy the game is.

Another factor is the service. YouTube allows higher bitrate than other services right now. A Twitch staff mentioned updating their recommendations without a specific date.

Thank you for your responses, im using restream to stream on youtube and twitch. It seems like when im playing overwatch, the frames lag a bit. Should this be happening?
