Question / Help Help With Mic Delay

I have just downloaded OBS 2 and have managed to set up my stream, really happy with it!

Only problem is there is a delay on my microphone. I am streaming my xbox360 gameplay, captured with display capture, The game video and audio is perfectly in sync and I have my mic coming through the mixer. The signal going to obs is obviously delayed by a few seconds because of the capture card, but as I am commentating while looking at my tv, the commentary comes through a few seconds before the picture on stream. Any idea how i could get it synced with my game audio?

Thanks

I don't think there's a way to deal with this yet on the Mac. The Elgato imposes a 1.5 second delay on the video input, so even if you are commentating based on what you see on the TV, the audio will come in 1.5 seconds sooner than what OBS sees. Normally the solution is to add a mic delay, but unfortunately, that feature is not yet available.

I see, thank you! Is there anyway I could add a mic delay through another program if this is not available on OBS?

Delay is actually implemented but we just don't have user interface for it yet.

The only way it works here is creating a route to softwares as Audition. Configure the latency to 1024 or more. Use OBS to receive audio signal of Audition. Now the audio has some lag.

This is a very old thread. Audio delay has been implemented in OBS MP already through the Advanced Audio Settings (the gear button next to the mixer).
