Hi peeps,
Very new to both streaming and forum discussion/assistance so I hope ya'll don't mind bearing with me and I hope I can explain myself well enough! My apologies if this is a frequently asked Q, I've tried to locate something but ended up down a rabbit hole as far as 2013 with no luck haha.
Issue is: While I'm live streaming, when swapping from my live scene (cropped webcam source + game capture source + 3/4 media/browser sources) to a 'Intermission/Chatting' screen (with larger same webcam source + music/playlist source playing + same 3/4 media/browser sources) and then back to Live, the game's rendering just seems to tank, slows down to the point where it's at an unplayable fps. Restarting the stream helps, but if I take the same action again, the same issue occurs.
I've read on past threads from very long ago that a global source could be staying loaded when moving back to the live scene and causing the CPU usage for OBS to spike, which would mess with the game's rendering. I'm also still getting to grips with encoder settings but I've a feeling that's not the issue.
Could anyone recommend any first steps I could take? Any other info I'd need to share, please let me know, and thanks in advance!
I believe this is the correct log file from my last streaming session where the issue occurred again for me. https://obsproject.com/logs/6KsfvOJEFflP51w7
