Hello. First time poster here.
My friend and I recently invested in the HD60 pro to have alerts and other interactive options versus just streaming through the PS4 alone. Another intention of the capture card was to add another mic to the stream, but keep what my friend does in game isolated to his headphones when he's focused on gaming. The viewers will hear the game, and my friend's voice while he plays and speaks, but also hear my voice when there's appropriate time to chime in without interrupting what my friend hears. My interaction with the viewers would be isolated but they would still hear the game and my friend's voice while the stream is live.
The current set up follows:
Friends PS4, gaming monitor, and his headset are in one corner of the room.
The capture card's ports are plugged in as instructed (IN on card to the OUT on PS4 and OUT on the card plugged into his gaming monitor)
We are still testing and troubleshooting things, and seeing if we'll move everything closer together (if possible and needed), but is there a way to achieve what I'm trying to do, where I can broadcast the stream (all sounds and footage) from my computer and use my own mic that's plugged to my computer to get this desired effect?
What other devices should we look into and how would the wiring look like to make it all work?
Thanks for the assistance
