Has anyone had any luck with using a Tournament Software that can handle Swiss rounds, posting a listing of pairings for each round, and a standings section that updates when a match is reported that can work easily with OBS? I’ve tried using Challonge, but there’s a few things that I cannot get to work properly to my liking that I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not searching in the right area for the proper tournament software / online solution or perhaps a deeper knowledge of OBS would be more helpful. There are also a few programs that I have used, but didn't seem to fit the bill. Challonge has come the closest I've found to working, but there are still a few things I can't seem to get right.
When I use the browser source for the Standings by linking the Challonge website link, I can adjust the area to view the standings easily. But it’s not a real time standings so I’ll need to refresh the viewing of the source or the webpage using the interact function. Now I know this is a limitation of the Challonge website itself since you have to reload the page in order to see the current standings if a match has been updated; but I wasn't sure if there was a way to automatically add a way for the page to refresh. I also could try just having the source fade in and out every set amount of seconds, but then I run into the problem where it reloads the whole page and the adjustment of where the standings list is bounces around the scene for a few seconds before finally loading in.
Also when using Challonge the Pairings that are listed don't exactly fit the way I want them too. When I attempt to try and manipulate the code from Challonge to make the match-ups fit better to the screen I can’t get them to fit properly. I would still have to use the interact function and when a new round happens it appears underneath the previous one causing me to have to scroll down and across the screen to view all the match-ups. I was trying to get it to work where I could see all the pairings at once, but have yet to find something that works.
I’ve been looking for something that can just post the Round Pairings all on one screen without scrolling around. I’ve tried to search around for something that would read from Challonge, different Tournament programs, and even some of the OBS plugins or addons that some people have made, but from what I have found so far are programs that are no longer supported or just did not seem to work properly.
If someone has some other ideas or directions that they could point me towards, that would be super appreciated!
