Help with capture

Well, when I want to capture a game, it goes well, but when I try to capture my laptop screen it just shows a dark screen. Why does this happen? Help me please

Search in this forum on laptop and dual GPU considerations.
if I recall, you need to make sure OBS and the game capture use the same GPU (but I could easily be confusing issue)
search on laptop black screen ... lots of advice/guidance on this issue

and read pinned post in this forum on posting an OBS log if you wish troubleshooting help
