Help with audio

im desperate. I have been at this for weeks and getting nowhere.
I am trying to capture video and audio with a cheap capture card (cant afford a decent one). I have no problem with video, but the audio just doesn't work. I have searched and tried many different solutions and nothing solves the problem. Audio doesnt come through into the mixer at all. I have checked everything to make sure its getting audio through the capture card and nothing works. Please help, im long overdue to start uploading to my YouTube channel and this is making me suicidal.

Well what kind of setup you have?
  • What kind of capture card? Hows it connected?
  • Log file?
  • How its connected to the mixer? How the mixer is hooked up

Its a simple plug and play type capture card that connects to my laptop via usb. As far as I know, it's unbranded. The mixer is just the audio mixing program that comes with obs
