My PC Windows OBS has begun to start recording on its own. Several times I looked down to see the recording light when I had not hit record. This morning it started recording when I opened dropbox.

OBS only start recording when you start it using the record button or a hotkey.
Just check which combination of keys you used for the recording hotkey.

Please provide a log file from one of this moments when it start recording.
