Don't save directly to mp4 for one
For recordings, in settings - output:
Output mode: Simple
Recording Quality: Indistinguishable
Recording format: FLV or MKV
Recording Encoder: Hardware (QSV) or Software (X264, low cpu usage preset, increased file size)
 
The quality of your videos are almost perfect for me. Keep in mind that Youtube recodes every video, one for every available resolution, starting from the lowest resolution. The first resolution that becomes available is 360p or something like this, and with this you cannot read anything of course. Wait until the higher resolutions become available, until the maximum. This takes some minutes, sometimes up to an hour.
In the youtube player, click in the lower right corner and see the Quality setting. There you see which resolutions are already available and which resolution is currently being played.
