Hi everyone,

I have a macbook pro (mid-2010) and I would like to record (not stream) my screen to make coding courses.
I have modify a lot of parameters to get 1080p or 720p but the result is not good (here the best result I had : youtubeVideo)

As you can see the texte is blurred.

Thanks for your help

You're recording 1080p60 at 2500 kbps. Blurring is unavoidable. Lower your framerate. If you're doing tutorial content, try and record in the native resolution of your display at the lowest acceptable framerate with the highest possible bitrate. For local recording use CRF rate control instead of CBR, with a quality setting between 14 (very high) and 23 (good).

Look for entries in your log referring to "rendering lag" (GPU overload) and "encoding lag" (CPU overload).

Thank you for your answer.

What do you mean about framerate and bitrate ? Where can I change framerate and bitrate on OBS ?

I use CRF but no change !

The resolution of my screen is 1440x900.

Framerate is in settings > video.

If you use CRF rate control you don't need to set bitrate, just the quality figure. If you get encoding lag, use a higher CRF number.
