Question / Help HELP PLEASE! Stream looks grainy/pixelated when moving in CS:GO

Set canvas 1024x768 (CSGO video settings)
Rescale to 1280x720 (you have to write those dimensions)
Lanczos
30 FPS

CBR 3500

Try this.

But this canvas will be useful ONLY for CSGO in that aspect ratio and resolution.
 
Just to cover the standard 720p aspect ratio.

Also, you can stream at 1024x768 and viewers will get black side bars.
 
@riseN- do you mind sharing a VOD from your test stream? You don't have to, but I'm curious to see what it looks like, if we have the same perception of compression artifacts :)

I say that because 720p30 at 3000-3500 kbps should be pretty good.

Other than that, if you take a game at 1024x768 and stretch it out to 1920x1080 it's not going to be super crisp and sharp. You would get a better picture by playing the game also in 1920x1080. But I understand that a lot of people want to play like we did in the 90's ;)

As mentioned by EBrito here you could alter your base resolution. I suggest setting it to 1280x720 and output to the same. You will have to type in the base resolution manually for that, it won't be in the drop-down list.
 
Your video looks very good (or fine, sorry my English).
Use Lanczos filter.
To reduce pixelation (there is really a few), raise bitrate. BUT not being partner I think it´s not good going over 3500.
So, you can try Lanczos with 50 FPS (Spanish ESL CSGO channel uses 50 FPS).
 
Guys i have a problem everytime i stream i have black bars i do have a 1440 by 900 monitor but set my stream to 1280 by 720 it doesnt matter how far i stretch my screen i keeps having black bars (stretching doesnt work)
 
Use 1600x900 canvas. And rescale to 720
In your sources (game_Capture for instance) CTRL+S (Transform .... Stretch to screen)

Your screen has an aspect ratio of 16:10 (personally my favorite) but Twitch and most other sites use a 16:9 aspect ratio for their player. That's why you have black bars.

Another alternative to above answer is to set your base canvas to 1440x810 which would mean if you center the source it would cut away a bit from the top and bottom, but without distorting the image.
