Question / Help Help! OBS keeps chopping up and removing parts of the videos I record!

I keep trying to record with obs but when I record obs chops up some parts and removes most of the video. Also when I just have obs open it starts recording at random times. Today I recorded a 20 minute video but I only got a 35 second part, 2 1 second parts and a 3 minute part. This is the second time I have downloaded OBS and these problems are consistent, what do I do?

I am having the same problem and this is ending my career i could've been doing school work rn but im right here tryna fix it with my subscribers waiting for gaming TvT
