Help! OBS crashes when clicking a transition!!??

Background:
I use OBS for live production so this needs to get fixed. I have had this issue since v26 and have been dealing with it but it has gotten out of control. I assume it is a bad plugin or profile or scene collection. I reuse scene collections and share them with other crew on my team. If I wait for a full minute, it will work just fine. If I click "cut" for four crashes in a row, on the fifth startup it will work just fine. If I have a production crash, in the past, I had the ability to fire up OBS and the stream was quickly back online. Now it takes minutes to get things going under a time crunch.​

How to reproduce the crash:
  1. Open OBS
  2. Click "Cut" (or any transition)
  3. Crash! :(
