Question / Help Help muting audio for me but NOT stream

So I am streaming through the Windows 10 Xbox App.

The Xbox App streams what's on the Xbox, both audio and video, to the app window on your PC. I have Display Capture to stream the video and the audio is merely played through the Desktop Audio. A picture of my stream "Setup" is here: http://puu.sh/v9B7Z/d77144203e.png

I have my Astro A40 Mixamp plugged into my PC to use for voice chat and the optic cable into my Xbox for game sound.

My problem is that I currently hear BOTH the audio from my Xbox and like a 1ms delayed audio that is the from the Xbox App. I would like to mute the audio from the Xbox App window so that I can only hear ONE game sound, and that's the one coming from my Xbox.

I have twisted the knob on the mixamp all the way to the Voice chat so that it "mutes" the Xbox box but the slight delay between audio and what I'm seeing as I play gives me a headache.

I feel as though my post is a little convoluted so this is what I want specifically:
  • Streamer hears the game from Xbox
  • Stream hears voice chat from Discord
  • Streamer DOES NOT hear from the Xbox App
  • Viewers hear the game from Xbox App
  • Viewers hear voice chat from Discord
Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Update: I have tried using Ear Trumpet to mute the Xbox app, and while that solves my problem, it prevents the stream from playing the game sound, so it isn't a very effective workaround.

I'm still looking for help. Tried searching on the forum and couldn't find anything. :/
