Use NVENC, I'd recommend a bitrate of around 40000 for 1080p30.

NVENC compresses so you need a much higher bitrate then when your render and it compresses better. Youtube butchers quality so once uploaded your videos will look a lot worse.

If you want you can see a tutorial I made for my full settings here

Technically the same if you want to lose 0 video quality, but then your file sizes will be huge for uploading to youtube and much higher quality than you need.

Recording at a higher bitrate then compressing in your editor when rendering for youtube at a lower bitrate you will get better quality than if you recorded at the low bitrate, but worse quality than the original file.

There is no point in rendering in 40 Mbps for youtube since youtube compresses it a lot. While recording compressing is done in real time so it can't be done as efficiently as it can while rendering in a video editor, so a higher bitrate is necessary for almost identical quality.

I know all what I said is probably really confusing and complicated. Basically you want to record in a higher bitrate than you render in. Record in 40 Mbps render in 18 Mbps

Your settings in movie studio platinum are mostly fine, but I would recommend:
-Change profile to high
-Uncheck allow source to adjust framerate
-Increase Max Bitrate

For 1080p30 I use a bitrate of 18 Mil average, and 24 Mil maximum.

CUDA isn't supported for the 970 in movie studio platinum so just use CPU only.
