Question / Help HELP MAJOR KB/S DROP ON OBS

I have been streaming fine however last night i suddenly lost 90% of frames and my kb/s is now less than 100 when i had 6000! I spoke to my isp and they said it is all fine, i have 19mb upload speed and 80mb/s download! It says 6000kb/s until i start a game for example CS;:GO then it just drops! I was streaming yesterday at 720 6000kb/s no problem??! I did twitch test and it said 10,000+!

I have tried most of those but i will have a quick look through, I just find it strange that it happened out of nowhere!

Considering how internet connection problems occur, I don't find it strange at all.

Ys but i have very powerful internet speeds and i haven't changed a single thing however it is now totally dead

I have tried everything on that list, including wiping all saved preferences and nothing has worked

Then you need to talk to your ISP.

TCPOptimizer

Menu FILE
- Reset TCP/IP
- Reset Winsock
These options should set your network as it was just after a clean Windows install.

Maybe this can solve your issues.

@EBrito I did, hasn't worked, so i did a speed test and these were the results before and after i had a game running

Less than 1 Mbit both ways.

You can´t stream with that connection

Talk to your ISP

This is what i mean, however as soon as i dont have a game running its back up to 50Mbit download and 10up! It has never happened before but i spoke to them and they said its all fine?

It seems like all of the bandwidth gets used by one application which is weird as i was streaming fine last night? @EBrito

Speedtest should be run with no other apps runnig.

For OBS, these test doesn´t show real network performance.

Better, use Twitch Bandwith test.

If you don´t succeed these tests:

you will have network issues streaming.

Are you sure you don't have 3rd party network software / optimizer like Killer NIC or ASUS / MSI / Gigabyte LAN Optimizer or similar?
