Can someone please look at this log file and tell me what might have happened? I started recording at 9:09 PM and then stopped at about 11:30 PM. I went to go check the footage and the file says it's only 1.9 GB (for reference, a 1-hour video is about 15 GB for me), doesn't have a time associated, and I can't open or view it. I can't find a failure in the log file, either.

From PM conversation:
Probably, the issue was related to low disk space.

Same as this:
https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/ran-out-of-disk-space-while-recording-way-to-recover-recording.59754/ said:
...obs didn't notify that i ran out of disk space and said it was still recording...

This is yet another reason why you shouldn't be recording directly to mp4.

Not an mp4 thing -- same issue recording directly to .mkv. It was a hard drive space issue. OBS said it was still recording, but it wasn't and I didn't find out until I clicked "Stop Recording" and checked the file only to find out that it was about 10 minutes worth of footage (after a 2-hour session). And the log doesn't show it. Turns out there's no feedback in the event that drive space is exhausted mid-recording, not even a forced stop. Lesson learned.

Yes, but the mp4 is unrecoverable, whereas the mkv would be playable up to the point where the disk ran out of space.

Indeed -- if the container was the issue then that certainly would have been the bottleneck. But in this case, there was no data to recover.
