So I'll start by adding my PC's specs.....
i7-8700
Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080ti
16gb Ram
500 gb SSD
Display 1: Asus 27" 1440p 144hz gsync monitor
Display 2: Dell Standard 24" 60hz
The issue that I am having is when I stream my game play doesn't feel "Smooth". It almost at times feels like input lag. The stream looks fine but the actual feel of the gameplay is "off". I've tried literally everything that I know to try. Messed with all the settings in OBS that research has told me to mess with; to no success. I don't have this issue when I record my gameplay with GeForce Experience. It literally runs perfect and is silky smooth. My in game FPS will range from 100-144 fps depending on the game I'm playing and yet the actual game play doesn't feel "smooth" when streaming. As soon as I turn my stream off, it's smooth as butter again with no change to FPS.
I understand that when playing on 1440p, it requires and uses a lot more ass then it does when playing in 1080p. With that being said, I feel like I have more then enough power to do so. I've heard that gsync can mess with performance when streaming; I've heard that running two displays that are different refresh rates causes issues. I'm honestly lost at this point, and don't know what else to try.
I would best compare my issue to input lag from back in the day when gaming on a console on LCD/LED tv's first started. A gamer can see and feel the lag/delay, but a non gamer doesn't see or feel it. I need someone to be my savior here so I can stop going crazy!
