Dear community,

I’m reaching out with an urgent plea for help regarding my persistent OBS recording dilemma. Let me begin by sharing the detailed specifications of my setup:

• iMac 5K 2020: Equipped with an Intel i9 10-core processor, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT (16 GB VRAM), and an impressive 128 GB DDR4 memory.
• Xbox Series X: Delivering captivating gameplay at 60 frames per second (fps).
• Elgato HD60X: My trusted capture card, designed to flawlessly handle 60 fps recordings.

Here’s the core issue: Despite meticulously configuring OBS to record at a smooth 60 fps in full HD (1920x1080), the system monitor faithfully claims it’s recording at 60 fps. However, upon scrutinizing the recorded footage and navigating frame by frame, a confounding pattern emerges - every other frame appears frozen, revealing an unmistakable 30 fps recording on a 60 fps timeline.
Frustration and determination have led me to exhaustively examine all my settings, scour countless YouTube videos for solutions, and conduct extensive troubleshooting. Yet, my search has yielded no one with a similar issue, leaving me perplexed and questioning whether my HD60X might be faulty or if I’m unintentionally overlooking a simple yet crucial setting.

My plea is for someone’s expertise and guidance. My journey with OBS setup has become a relentless pursuit, and I’m determined to find a resolution. Your insights, suggestions, or even the tiniest hint could lead to a breakthrough.

Thank you for your kind attention and unwavering support!
