I'm trying to record some videos of me playing Super Mario 64 using the Project 64 emulator (no streaming).
However I keep getting sequences of the clips in which it lags a lot (showing less than 1 FPS), even though I tried to change the settings to make it run as smooth as possible.
It might be my computer that's simply too slow, but I don't have high requirements for the recordings, so I was hoping I could somehow make it acceptable anyway.
The resolution doesn't have to be high, and I'd be happy if I could just get a consistent 20 FPS.
It seems like there are certain parts of the game where the video is more likely to lag. Maybe that can help you to identify what my problem is.
The settings I have now, are some I found on these forums while searching for ways to prevent lag, but none of those changes seemed to make a huge difference in preventing the lag.
