Hello lovely people
Just picked up an Avermedia Livegamer Duo PCIE capture card, which seems to all be working correctly. Drivers all installed, video inputs and outputs working great. Windows also displays an audio output, "Digital Audio (S/PDIF)."
My question - Does this device have the ability to input audio as a mic source, for example under "Audio Input Capture" in OBS, or "Microphone" in Zoom? I'm only seeing an audio track appearing in OBS when adding the capture card as a "Video Capture Device."
It seems strange that this device wouldn't have the firmware capability to act as a microphone input in windows. I've used an Elgato Camlink 4k, Camlink Pro, and Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro, which all create both a video and audio input source in Windows - that can be used as both camera and microphone sources in video calling softwares such as Zoom and Messenger.
Anyone had the same experience with this capture card? I don't think it's a PCIE limitation? Am I missing a driver? I'd love to be able to use audio over HDMI in Zoom calls.
System: Ryzen 3800x, 32gb ram, 1050ti 4gb, Windows 10 Home.
