Hi there, we are streaming a weekly church service and whilst it hasn't always been straightforward we are learning as we go and it is definitely improving.
This morning's issue was a new one however-
Typically we have 2 'ministers who present': 1 is remote and routed through our OBS via zoom on an iPad, this audio input is via a USB codec;
The other is on the premises and we are typically using an iPhone for Video and a lav mic for audio, this is a USB audio device.
This has been fine until this morning when OBS 3 times, changed the audio input to the wrong one, i.e. Scene 1 (codec) was fine.... transition to a recording and then back to scene 1 but the audio had switched itself to the USB lav mic (scheduled for a later scene). I checked all the inputs again but again it preferentially switched back to the lav input later on in the stream!!!
I cannot see what I may have done to cause this to happen and I will definitely be checking the audio inputs before scene transitions but I don't really have the time to do this mid-stream and it does add a layer of stress. Does anyone have any ideas or experience of this?
OBS has been awesome and as a vicar's wife who has suddenly had to upskill to run the live stream, I am hugely grateful for the wisdom here.
Thanks in advance
