Bug Report HDPVR 2 Gaming Edetion Plus Red Screen

When i connect my hdpvr 2 gaming edition plus, a red screen comes on obs where the hdpvr's video should be? please help.

HD PVR 2 has an internal encoder, therefore you have to use window capture to use it with obs.

That would have been important information to state in your OP, as well as posting in the appropriate place.

As far as I know, the Hauppauge doesn't provide Mac drivers for the HD PVR 2 that let other programs use its output.
