I Isegrim Member Jan 6, 2015 #2 HD PVR 2 has an internal encoder, therefore you have to use window capture to use it with obs.

dodgepong Administrator Community Helper Jan 6, 2015 #5 That would have been important information to state in your OP, as well as posting in the appropriate place. As far as I know, the Hauppauge doesn't provide Mac drivers for the HD PVR 2 that let other programs use its output.
