I'm considering getting an HDMI to USB 3.1 adapter to connect my Nikon D3300 to so I can stream with it. I have an Elgato capture card coming in that I can use, but I'd like to use it on my Nintendo Switch. I'm not buying a second capture card to use my camera and my Switch, so I was considering using the HDMI output on the camera and connect it to my PC using an HDMI to USB 3.1 adapter, but I'm not sure if that would work.
