hdmi switcher

so i want to use a hdmi switch using an elgato cam link in the output and connect 3 camcorders to the inputs .bring it into obs with
video capture device and use the switch to change camera shots .this obviosly saves me buying an atem mini device but do hdmi switches
change from each input instantly or is there some delay between the input swap
