Hey, hope someone can help me with this.
I've just started helping my village church with live streaming to YouTube. We're using Studio mode to be able to fade between scenes to show things like notices, videos, slide shows.
For input we've got an old camera that only had composite output, we're then feeding that into a switcher/scaler which outputs to HDMI at 1080p. This then goes in to an HDMI capture card.
We've got an issue where if we've been away from the scene with the camera and then come back it is blank. The only way we've been able to get it back is to delete the camera source, unplug the capture card, plug it back in and add it back in as a source. If we make sure we keep the camera as one of the active scenes in studio mode it stays working.
Any ideas would be a massive help. Is there a setting in OBS to keep it active when away from the scene that I've missed? Is it the capture card going to sleep because it isn't being used?
