Hi yall: I've seen a few threads like this in the forums and tried what they mentioned, but haven't been able to fix this issue.
I have a Vixia HF R800 connected via HDMI with a Pyle PHDRCP48. That Pyle connects via USB 3.0 to my laptop, an HP Omen.
The audio coming into the camera is via a Beachtek DXA-4B with dual XLRs from a Yamaha MG10xU. There's a wireless lav in channel 1, an ambient music connection in ch 2, and a room tone shotgun mic (it's turned off most of the time, used to pick up very specific sounds during a class). The whole setup is in a yoga studio, connected to the internet via ethernet.
So all that aside I get no audio from the HDMI. I pick up bad audio from the built-in mic on the laptop which loops into bad industrial music. Everything else works fine. Previously we used Livestream Producer instead of OBS, and a Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder (like 3 years ago) with this exact rig and it provided great results. For whatever reason it stopped working and we have gone through a few iterations to this. I'm kind of at wit's end, honestly. Any advice on how to get audio from this mixing board is greatly appreciated. If I'm ever at Legoland I'll send you a churro
