Hi all,
I have a 4k 120Hz monitor without HDMI 2.1. I want to set up a second pc (and monitor) in the future for streaming and recording, but was wondering if I would be limited to playing in 4k 60 because my monitor does not support HDMI 2.1? Could I connect an rtx 3080 via dp to my 4k 120hz monitor, and then have a capture card sitting in the streaming pc connected to the rtx 3080 via HDMI 2.1, and still be able to play 4K 120hz on my main monitor which does not have HDMI 2.1? Would the refresh rate of the second monitor matter
I am well aware that there are no HDMI 2.1 gaming capture cards available at the moment.
So the goal is to play at 4k 120 on my main pc and monitor, but stream at 1080p60 and record at 4k60 on a second pc.
