Not found under video capture devices. Im using a dual core i7 macbook running 10.9. I heard you needed the 32 bit version but I only see one option to download. Any help would be great

I'm having the same problem. I need the 32 bit version of OBS multiplatform for mac, but I haven't found a download yet. Anyone know where I can get it?

No, that issue is not the same. 32-bit version requirement is for elgato and windows.

Mac doesn't have drivers for the elgato that any version of OBS can use, so you need to window capture the elgato software.

I recommend Display capture instead of Window capture, as Window capture on Mac tends to have really bad performance.

Elgato's video on that is behind what is actually happening by a second or two. Is it in any way possible that I can use the "video capture device" feature?

Yes, click the gear button next to the mixer and increase the Sync delay on the sources you want delayed.
