Question / Help HD Webcam for Acer not working

Hello,

I did some looking around and didn't see anyone with this exact same problem (some similar ones but none of them helped me).

So just got an Acer Predator G5-793 (Windows 10), and the camera does not work when I try to do "Video Capture Device".

I have attached a screenshot of exactly what I see immediately after I click ok in the "Create/Select Source". In tutorials I have seen online, there should be something that pops up asking me for detailed information about the camera and settings I can play with- this never happens. Goes straight to the screen I snapshotted. Also uploaded the log file.

How can I help you help me further? Thank you for your time :)

PS- This is the stock/built in webcam, not a USB connected one. Also, I have tried this camera in other Broadcasting Software as well and it didn't work there either. Tried the normal "Microsoft Camera" app and it worked, as well as doing a video chat with a friend over facebook as a test. I have made sure to close out of everything since only one program can access and use the camera at a time.

Code:
23:08:56.783: Video Capture Device: DecodeDeviceId failed
23:08:56.783: Video Capture Device: Video configuration failed

Change the Resolution/FPS Type to Custom, and set it manually to something the camera supports.

That did it! Not all heroes wear capes, kind sir/ma'am. Thank you for your time!

-Heads up to anyone attempting this- there is a white drop down menu that appears "greyed out" for resolution after you change it to custom and even if you click in/on the box nothing happens. But if you click the small drop down arrow on the right you can change the settings. Tried this earlier but didn't click the little drop arrow- could have saved myself hours of headache.
