Question / Help HD PVR 2 GE+ HDMI and SPDIF?

Hi all, I am having a trouble using my HDPVR2GE+ with obs multiplat. I want to have the video's source be HDMI in, and the audio source be the spdif in. Is this possible within OBS? The capture software that came with the device can, but that software sucks. I noticed the pins aren't related by default, this might be relevant. Thanks in advance!

Still haven't seen any positive progression towards a solution. I have messed with every audio and device setting that I could reasonably attribute to this but I am out of ideas. Anybody know anything about this at all?
