Question / Help HD 60 PRO 2 SOURCES 1 WITH LESS CPU USAGE

Guys i can't find any information on this, even if i uninstall everything and clean up registry + redownload elgato capture software, i get 2x different sources to choose from in OBS, one of which gives HEAPS less CPU usage, literally i can run medium instead of fast, with headroom to go, most of you would be thinking by now, why not just use that source? Well on the preview on OBS things seem like 30fps, NO delay but just not smooth, But watching the VOD it seems like its perfect 60 fps, even when comparing to VOD of the other source and fast rendering. You can see a clear quality difference between medium and fast which makes me want to use that mysterious source, But as i said it "seems" like less then 60 FPS in preview, Can anyone please enlighten me as to what this source is and if i can use it or not. The devices that are pulled up in that list should come from the device manager.
In particular, Sound, video and game controllers.

You should only see Elgato devices:
- Elgato Sound Capture
- Game Capture HD60Pro

What I would do is right click and uninstall everything that is Elgato related in this section.
Go to Apps and uninstall Elgato Game Capture HD
Reboot
Download the current Elgato Game Capture HD software
Install

No that would just net me the same results as the new elgato software has this "3PS DirectShow" driver built into it, this is why many people are not seeing it... either way it saves 10% CPU and is the better source to use, i wish more people knew about it.

" Basically the DirectShow driver is stripped down and interacts with the card in a much more basic sense as it's not being abstracted through an intermediate filter. The original driver configuration is designed to control most functions and be easy to use with the GUI."

They don't see it because they already have existing Elgato capture sources setup in their sources that work just fine. When updating Elgato version, there's no need to change a thing. If the original works, why screw with it? Also, its up to Elgato to communicate this properly. There's nothing as of a text file as release notes installed on disk, no blurb about it in the installation screens, nor on their website in the download link.

The 3.60.109 link may be the actual driver. However I do remember this time frame a few months ago because one of my Ryzen systems after a Windows 10 update kept crashing on OBS launch. Turned out, it was the Elgato driver that was at fault and this update fixed it.​

Yeah i agree, just wish i could help spread the word, its actually MUCH more then 10% CPU u save.... No reason to use the "normal" elgato drivers.. even if they are working. I go from fast preset 70-90% CPU in high motion scenes, to medium preset and 50-70% high motion scenes, could maybe even run Slow if i didn't need that headroom for other things.
