Hey guys, obligatory Log attached above.
I've just started using OBS, so far I really like the software, but unfortunately I'm having two fairly serious issues.

The more minor one is that when I try to capture directly from the game I'm playing (Magic: Online) I don't get any visuals, The webcam shows me, but the rest of the screen just stays black. I've found that just using the display capture works as a work-around. Although if there are any suggestions for how to fix this, I would definitely appreciate them. :)

Second, and more seriously, there is an issue with my audio. The in-game audio seems to come through just fine, but the audio from my mic flickers/stutters and cuts in and out. It's really frustrating. I haven't messed with the settings much, so I'm hoping there will be a decent fix.
I'm fairly certain my built in mic is at least workable, as I work part time as a skype tutor, and have never had any complaints.
Any help with this issue would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!

If you're talking MODO, I don't think you can use Game Capture with that is it's not rendering any video. Window Capture should work better than display capture, though.

As for the audio issues, it looks like you're just barely overloading your laptop. Trying turning output resolution down one step under 720p and see if things smooth out.

Awesome, thanks so much for the reply. I'll give that a shot and report back. :)

Edit: Where might I find the option to turn the output resolution down? Is it under settings>output> Video bitrate?

So I figured out the solution to my microphone issue. The problem was with my actual microphone's settings.
I was able to fix it by googling the name of my laptop + microphone issues.
The answer was to go into control panel>hardware and sound>sound> click the recording tab> open properties for your mic>advanced> Uncheck 'Enable Audio Enhancements'. Then, go to Levels and turn the Microphone boost from 24 to 12, and adjust the Microphone Aray level until it sounded good. Mine is at 93 now.

That was it. Easy fix!
