Question / Help Having trouble running a second camera.

My friends and I run a tabletop D&D session once a week, so I'm trying to run a player camera and a map camera at the same time. I'm using Streamlabs OBS and the player camera is fine and runs smooth, but every 5-20 minutes I hear a noise like the USB has been disconnected and the second camera freezes. The easy temp fix is to click the Vid capture device in slobs an select the camera again, but the comp is in the other room and it's a pain in the butt.

I'm using Logitech C922x Pro Stream Webcams.
My net speeds are roughly 450 down and 570 up.
Running on:
Windows 7 x64
i5-4570 @ 3.20 GHz, 3201 Mhz, 4 Cores
Installed(?) RAM is 12 GB
Virtual is 16.6 GB (Which is the amount in the sticks I've got plugged in. Not sure if I haven't done something right.)

These are all the things I've tinkered with after Googling for three weeks and watching countless YouTube videos:
I've dropped my bitrate to 3,500.
Output = Advanced.
Keyframe Interval = 2.
Profile = main.
Resolution (Canvas and Base) 1920x1080.
FPS = 30.

I've toyed with the second Video Capture Device being detect default (2304x1356) to 1920x1080, and even 1280x720.

*In devices and printers I have a warning icon that my USB port drivers aren't up to date, so I updated everything possible on the entire system, but it still isn't there. When I try to update it through the Update Driver button, it times out and says it can't do anything. I tried to look up all my system info and update manually, and it worked for a minute, but that warning is still there and the problem persists.*

Nothing is working and I'm at the end of my rope. Please help!!!!

Just so you know, this is the support forum for main OBS, not slobs.

That said, running multiple webcams requires that you manage the USB bandwidth and connection. Make sure they are connected to separate host controllers (use a program like USBview) to ensure that they will not conflict. If you only have a single USB host controller, then your only option is to lower the resolution and framerate.

Luckily, you're using c922's which don't have any multiple-cam conflicts, so this is all down to bandwidth and cable quality. You mentioned that the computer is in the other room -- if you're trying to run long distances with non-active cables, that would definitely be a cause for camera freeze If you're running a usb connection more than 30ft, then you really need to be using an active extension.
