I'm trying to setup my hotkeys to the point where I shouldn't even have to look at/click on OBS to know what is being captured. Is there any way to do this? I don't want to have to put my focus at all to what OBS is doing when I'm streaming.
I'm running into a problem whenever I switch scenes. The hotkey setup stops working altogether. Even after I try to click back to the hotkey's intended scene, they still don't work. Once I switch scenes, it just stops working. I've tried running obs in administration, but that didn't work. In order to get the hotkeys to work again, I have to exit out of obs entirely. I run on win 64, if that's necessary info.
Also is there any way to setup a hotkey chain? Like setting a hotkey for shift + numpad1, for example. I thought it was the plus button in the hotkey settings window, but it seems to mean you can use either shift or numpad1 to activate the source.
Log file (though I don't know how it would help): https://gist.github.com/2258975d672fb01464c1429b1a2d85d0
