Question / Help Having my Elgato HD60 output audio through my studio monitors via OBS

Elgato HD60 pro. My setup includes an audio interface connected to JBL monitors, and there's no simple way to connect my ps4 to this. But I just found out I could route it so that the HD60pro plays the ps4 audio to the desktop, then it comes out my studio monitors. Thing is that the elgato hd60 is no longer a seperate source for audio, it gets mushed with the desktop audio, which is what I want because I run a music playlist with it, but I'd just like to have them seperate for mixing purposes. Is it possible?

On the source for the Elgato, only let it capture the audio, do not route it to desktop from there.

In the mixer properties, set up an audio monitor for the Elgato device. This lets it be a separate audio source that you can turn up or down as needed and is not tied to desktop audio.
