Question / Help Having Audio Problems in OBS Studio.

It will not record my audio and I got all the settings correct. Any help?

Does it show audio activity in the mixer in OBS studio while you are recording?

What are you using to play back the video with that you aren't hearing any audio from? I know there are issues with Media Player not playing the audio tracks, but VLC works fine.

Otherwise can you give more detail about your system and setup?

Well it does show the audio activity for both mic and desktop. And I use VLC media player to watch it. I also tried the windows media player but audio still won't show up. I'm also using the mp4 format for when i'm done recording and it saves. Is that probably the problem?

That is odd. I use mp4 for my video recordings too.
In the output settings are you using Simple mode options, or advanced?

Thanks for the screen shot, but in OBS you could click help/logs/show recent log and upload that to pastebin.com so we could check your whole log for settings we'd need to troubleshoot your issue.

I just found out it's a error with the MP4 format. I tried FLV and audio worked.
