Have you been trying to solve a simple scoreboard for when you are streaming sports events?

I tried different solutions one after another and they all made a simple thing very complicated. The apps to install were complicated to get going with a lot of plug-ins and scripts, it was a lot of work to make it look nice with different overlays, get everything in the correct size and so on.

I tried different online web-services and was never able to get the clock to stay in sync with the actual clock in the game for a whole game and they cost a lot if you just stream on a weekly basis. I also tried to capture time/score from websites running game referees but it was the same issue with the clock/web browser update...never in sync.

So what did I do? I paid a developer to create a simple and clean scoreboard application for Windows that is easy to use running locally on one computer, the same computer that is doing the streaming, in this case OBS.

The application has one control window and one viewing window. In the streaming application you just create an overlay and capture the viewing window and you are good to go. The viewing window is managed by the control window or by setting up keyboard shortcuts.

I would say that it would fit sports like Bandy, Football/Soccer, Floorball, Handball, Hockey, Futsal and so on

Look in the Resource page for Universal Scoreboard, it's free, just download with the link
