Bug Report Hauppauge HD PVR Audio Skipping

When testing 0.7.2 via recording with the first Hauppauge HD PVR Gaming Edition I noticed that the audio continuously skips via video capture device. I have no idea why, but it's rather annoying.

Strange, do you have a video of this? Would be interested to see it. Also I need to do some more testing on some less powerful computers.

Hm, strange, no error reported in the log file either. HD-PVR 1?

Yes it's the first gaming edition.

I too get this issue, however I have the HD-PVR 2. Not as bad as the video Aeladya uploaded but noticeable. Don't think it is down to computer spec as had it running on an i7 16GB Ram (OBS only using 11% CPU) with no other programs open.

I have the HD PVR 2, and I did a test yesterday, got audio skips for the first 5 seconds or so, then it was perfectly fine for the rest of it. I don't have a powerful laptop, Intergrated graphics, AMD A8-4500M APU CPU, 8GB of RAM, running Windows 8 64-bit.
