I've been reading that some people use VBR encoding for pushing more video data through, and others use CBR for making sure the network packet shaping remains stable, reducing viewer lag.
But I'm not finding much about ABR (average bit rate). It sounds like it may offer some of the benefits of both. Has anyone run some tests with it?
