Question / Help Hardware acceleration in obs, how do I disable that?

So I recently noticed various programs hardware acceleration is causing my gpu to stay fixed at 52% at all time when program is launched. That goes for Skype, Discord, Chrome and OBS.

I managed to fix it by disabling gpu support for chrome and discord, and skype sadly lacks the option. There is literally no difference in those programs performance after I turned off gpu processing and my gpu can stay at 31 degrees when idle instead of 45-50..

Please tell me I can also do it for OBS. I want to have it launched at all time and I don't want it to eat my gpu power when it's not needed, my electricity bills are already too high and my GPU is heavy on power consumption.

OBS will render the scene you setup as long as it's open (this is done on the GPU). No way to change that.
But usually this should cause only single-digit load on the GPU.

Depending on what GPU you have your temps are only that high in idle due to fanless fan curves below 60°C
