Hi all, i wanted to ask you a question about this problem that is pissing me off for the last 4-5 days...
I had my stream on 2700 bitrate (with a 97 down and 21 upload connection) for a couple weeks.
4 days ago i raised my bitrate up to 3000, no changes in game, still pretty good but i looked over my stream video where a viewer said the stream was lagging only when I was shooting and i saw those lag spikes when reloading, shooting, going inside a car and stuff... (H1Z1: King of the Kill).
I'm linking you the broadcast so you can see the problem by yourself.
I tried to lower my bitrate down to 2700 again (when I wasn't having problems about lag) and it still does it...
Once more, I'm playing absolutely fine and viewers were saying it was laggy as hell.

Those are my OBS stamps:

And those are my computer specs (no I do not own a streaming pc, and it couldn't be my pc problem because i was streaming fine for the past 4 weeks):
CPU: i5 4460 3,2GHz
Graphics Card: AMD Sapphire R9 270X 2GB
RAM: 16GB Corsair Ballistix Sport CL9 (4x4GB)
Storage: SSD 120GB for OS and 1TB HDD for normal storage.
MOBO: Asus B85M-C2 Socket LGA1150
Power Supply: Thermaltake Hamburg 530W
I'm currently using OBS Studio 18.0.1

Please help me!

You know I can't really help you but I have the same problem, I dont know if it was 4 days ago but after the massive kotk update (8.2) I started to have these problems. My CPU is i5 6500 and I stream with quicksync. It is only related to how much h1z1 kotk is using the CPU. Especially before the game starts when I'm in lobby I'm getting fps drops and dropped frames ( for OBS, game always works fluently).
I dont think it's an OBS problem it's completely and utterly how shitty H1Z1 team works.

Is OBS skipping Frames when this happens? Post a full Log of OBS, maybe some Users here can help out.

Besides, for Twitch, u need to edit your Settings.

Settings > Output > Keyframe Interval = 2
Settings > Output > Profil: Main

Try if this helps.

Twitch is changing some Bitrate stuff some weeks ago. They cancel the 3500Bitrate "limitation"
Perhaps you guys has to reset your Streamingkey.
