Hello guys, it's me craZy here.
I have created an account here on obsproject.com initially because of this problem I've been having with only OBS Studio. I have tried finding all sorts of videos and previous threads talking about the Stopping Recording problem but none of the solutions offered on any other given sources have actually helped me out...
This originally began after I started recording competitive matchmaking games on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive so I could look back at parts of games without having to use Valve's GOTV, plus communication. I used the original OBS but after a while it ended up crashing CS:GO, or any other game as matter of fact once I started recording which has really spoiled a few things in the past hence why I moved over to OBS Studio. Since then, I have been unable to complete a single recording due to the fact that any competitive match I play is at least half an hour long and it takes forever (or in other words, it hangs) to get past the stage where the "Start Recording" button becomes "Stopping Recording...", that I end up having to terminate the recording process completely in order to be able to record again, to see that the previous recording has broken parts. Ever since, this has happened whenever I record in mp4 format and the recording is longer than 10 minutes - I have had to forcefully terminate the recordings each time it has hung on "Stopping Recording..."...
Anyhow, my PC specs are as follows...
CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz (stock clocks)
RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz (overclockable to 2133MHz)
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti (stock clocks)
SSD: 240GB OCZ ARC 100 (only for OS and programs)
HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda @ 7200RPM (Games and Recordings, currently investing in a scratch drive for recordings)
Lastly, I have included a log file if this helps. Thanks in advance :)
