Green screens/chroma key, overlays, and recording videos & screen at the same time

I'm brand new to this world (was a PowerPoint guru and now have graduated to Canva, but I'm told OBS is really where it's at) and I know what I want my end product to look like, but have no idea how to get there. What I want is to have instructional videos and tutorials where I do the work/writing on the screen - or there's animation through Canva or something - and then record me as the narrator. I want to look like I'm "in" the video, but like I'm pointing to the animation on the screen as it appears. I know I need a green screen for this, but is OBS going to be the platform where I record me doing the talking in front of the green screen and doing the screen recording/writing simultaneously? Or is OBS where I'm going to put my AV elements together once they're recorded? Like, if I record myself in front of a green screen and then record the writing/animation on the screen, is OBS where I would overlay them? Or is OBS the recording tool itself? I feel like there are a million things OBS can do, but I only want one little aspect, so I am just getting confused reading all the stuff that doesn't apply to me...mostly gamer streaming info. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

OBS is primarily intended for livestreaming real-time content productions.
It's been picked up for its recording functionality by creators, but this was never its main purpose.

It sounds like what you'd want to do is first record your presentation (using OBS), then import that video as a media source and layer your webcam on top with a greenscreen while acting along to your script, recording the composited result to a second video.
Alternately, you could record the greenscreen+camera video separately (again, using OBS), and layer/combine both in a video editor later.

OBS is NOT a video editing suite though. There are plenty of free and paid options for that out there.

I would like some help with chroma key. I want to use OBS and zoom, but in zoom my green background bleeds through the virtual background, and i was told i could remedy that using chroma key. When i view zoom via OBS the problem is still there, so i need to learn about filters.
