I am looking to do some live video mix streaming. I am running Serato Dj Pro and Video SL from my Macbook Pro specs are
OS 10.15.4 (19E266)
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)
Processor 2.5 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7
Memory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
Graphics Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 1536 MB
I think the problem is I'm over working my cpu but am hoping there's a solution short of buying a new computer. I'm using my FaceTime camera or iPhone as a webcam/ mic, running video out from my mac into a elgato hd60s. Have a OWC Thunderbolt 3 dock for my usb inputs. I got the obs link elgato recommended to get it to connect with obs for macs. They also recommended OBS stream lab and am having the same issue there.
If the answer happens to be I am overworking my cpu I would welcome any recommendations for a cpu with a decent webcam and specs for running obs for my streaming needs.
